Palladium on Japanese gampi with Kremer watercolor
21.5 X 44 inches
This triptych of palladium on Japanese gampi papers is about our relationship to snakes. Snakes are sacred symbols of the divine in nature among many peoples.
The first work here is a snake tattooed on a woman’s back, the second is a serpent’s head caressed by flowing silver water color, and the third is a close up of a shed snake skin.
