A baby in a circle of Magnolia Petals. CIRCLE OF LIFE– BRIDAL, MATERNITY, BIRTH, FAMILY– and PROFESSIONAL

“Alice was a joy to work with. She put me at ease, has the most soothing voice and really sees the session as an artistic process. I felt cared for. She was open to any and all suggestions, yet her own led to beautiful shots. She shot ours in black and white film and we will treasure them forever, more beautiful than I could have imagined. I was apprehensive about being nude in front of a stranger, but after meeting with Alice and getting to know her, I didn’t feel nervous at all. She is highly recommended – a gentle soul with a talented eye!”–Tiere Jenuine

I tell stories visually and aesthetically. I aim for an expansive, imaginative vision. Images are not silent but speak to the heart in a way that words can not.

I work with my clients to create stories photographically. I help you see how your love supports one another and how your children grow and change. The two prints here mark important times in their families’ lives. A young girl is printed with the flowers that were in bloom at the time of the photo session. She is about to become a big sister so this moment in early Spring resonates with this big change in her life. The baby photograph is also a Spring celebration with Magnolia petals.

I offer traditional and modern prints. With the two prints on this page, I wish to highlight the beauty of palladium printing. Palladium is a precious metal sought after by jewelers. Used as a photographic printing solution, it brings out a delicate balance of tones to the photograph. The tonality sometimes can have browns and blues as well as the grays of the black & white processes. Palladium gives each picture the sensual appeal of a true artifact. Indeed palladium and platinum prints are the most archival of printing methods.
