This past Saturday I participated at the Eco Fair in JJ Byrne Park in Brooklyn, sponsored by The Old House, Park Slope Parents, and the Park Slope Civic Council. Face painting the children who lined up at the Park Slope parents table was incredible fun. Letting children inhabit characters, animals, and super heroes of their choosing gives them the opportunity to play and imagine. Here are a few photos:
