I work with a bookbinder, Dweller By The Stream Bindery, to create and produce unique and highly personal books of my photographs of your wedding, event or family.
Noted for the custom portfolios that Dweller By The Stream produces for top commercial photographers like James Salzano and Doug Menuez, my clients’ albums are equally attractive and well crafted.
I offer styles that have proven popular. The clamshell box contains photographs in archival cotton paper mats. The two album styles are ‘post’ and ‘sewn’. The post style has glassine between the pages to separate the photos. The sewn album is a book style where the photographs face each other. Like the clamshell mats, the albums use archival cotton paper with a natural deckle edge.
The choices for the cover fabrics are in all shades of color and textures. Because your album is custom made for you, you also may present ideas for your album. One idea is an accordion fold album capable of standing open on a desk or mantle. Your album comes with a photograph, usually a palladium print, inset on the cover.
Below are photographs of some of the albums and boxes. The photographs with the clamshell box are a palladium print of a series of three. Inset on the cover of the box is a black & white silver fiber print.
The second photograph is of album pages separated by glassine in a post album. The two books together in the third photo are sewn albums. Each of these albums has an inset palladium print on the cover.
